Hey everyone! I have just recently watched the new movie Knowing. It was a pretty good movie, but it wasn't an oh-my-gosh-this-is-the-greatest-movie-I've-ever-seen sort of thing. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it had a weird combination of religion and science. You could tell that the people who created this movie were big beleivers in Christ. Don't get me wrong, I am too, but not enough to mix religion and science together when they have no relation to the eachother what-so-ever! So, that could have been taken down a knotch or two, other than that, it was good!(:
The thing I liked most about this movie is that it really made you think. Me and Danielle talked about it all night and boy am I freaking tired! But the thing that made it better to understand was watching the apocolypse special feature. That really made me kind of freaked about "Holy crap, the world's gonna end one day, God I hope I die before that!(:" but it was a peice of information I really had to read to get a better background of the end of the world. It really made me be a lot more interested in science and the solar system. Usually, in school, I just see science as boring and just want it to be over. (No offense Mrs. Beichner!) Now I just want to know more about space and other stuff like that. I remember in the apocolypse special feature a man said the sun is about as old as the earth, 4.5 billion years old, so we still have a long way to go. Shouldn't we be able to create some kind of technology to take us to a different solar system before the sun flares up? I would think so. All around, it was some pretty heavy stuff, but I don't regret I watched it at all!(:
